Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy To maintain an elevated, personalized experience for each client, all bookings are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and require the following: A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer to secure your date. Weddings and Editorial Projects require a minimum retainer of 50% of the selected collection. Portrait, Event, and Boudoir sessions require a 30% non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the scheduled session or event unless a custom payment plan has been arranged. Dates will not be held without both the retainer and signed agreement. If you require a custom package, please schedule a consultation to ensure your needs are fully accommodated. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Because each session is custom-crafted and dates are limited: All retainers are non-refundable. Clients who need to reschedule must do so at least 7 days in advance. Rescheduling is allowed once without penalty, subject to availability. Cancellations made with less than 7 days' notice will result in forfeiture of the retainer, and a new retainer will be required to rebook. No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged in full, and no refunds or credits will be issued. In the rare event that Patrick Magee Photography must cancel due to emergency or force majeure, clients will receive a full refund or option to reschedule without additional fees. Waitlist Policy Due to high demand and limited availability, a waitlist is maintained for sold-out dates and high-volume seasons (wedding and holiday periods). Clients may request to be placed on the waitlist by submitting their preferred date(s) and session type. If a slot opens, waitlisted clients will be contacted in the order received. Once notified, the client will have 24 hours to confirm and secure the slot with a retainer and signed agreement. Waitlist placement does not guarantee booking and is based strictly on availability.
